The village of Abercych has a history of woodturning. It sits on the side of the valley with the river Cych beneath it. The river joins the larger Teifi river at the end of the village at three counties bridge. Modern day Abercych comprises of several old hamlets which are in the parish of Manor Deifi. Nearby are the famous Cenarth falls and the market towns of Cardigan & Newcastle Emlyn. A short drive away are the Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion coastlines.
The hall was built in 1957, it gained funding to have an extension built and recently achieved a lottery grant to improve the old kitchen area. The majority of the kitchen work done by committee members with materials from local businesses.
The main hall can accommodate over 150 people. The small room can hold approximately 12 people.
The hall is run by a small committee of volunteers, if you would like to support them they meet the first Tuesday of every month in the hall at 7PM.
